Digital retinal photography is outstanding for screening/baseline and tracking eye disease. It is a great, non-invasive, cutting edge tool for the care and monitoring of diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy as well as macular degeneration and many other retinal problems. We often send copies of the photos to patient's primary care physician.
